Art still exists during times of war

Despite our current situation, may we soon return to days of PEACE and HARMONY. It’s been a brutally difficult year, ever since 7th October, 2023 and we still have many hostages still in captivity. Still we are so glad to see those who are freed and we wish them healing and strength to come back to normal life, if possible sooner than later.

I wish to send them all virtual Tulips to heal from such traumatic horrible 15 months… so intense, not enough many witnessed hundreds being massacred and killed at the festival or in the Kibbutz area, loved ones killed in front of them, then some were beaten on the streets of gaza, then confined, tortured, raped or hidden in tunnels, starved, put in cages. Unbelievable horrific scenarios.

May DIVINE intervention help us all from above.

Since my Mother Professor G. Stendig-Lindberg and Grandmother were both in the concentration camps, during WWII, I am extra sensitive to what these terrorists actions aim at….the destruction of our Home Land Israel. I pray that what my family had to go through and 6 millions Jews, will not be repeated… as that is what they want. I believe HaSHEM/G’D will strengthen us to overcome, and we will be able to bring Peace to the Middle East.

In honor of my dear Mother and my dear sister Miriam, may we be able to enhance Poetry and Art and not wars. Our Lindberg Peace foundation hold annual Peace events.

Israel and its citizens, have done so much over the years, and in between so many wars, to create a Home Land after 2000 years of exile. Dried swamps, built cities and planted so many trees, to tranform the desert into a Blooming and Blossoming land.

Since I work with Tulips and Healing, I was very happy to see that the last years the Dead Sea area and Judean hills have bloomed. We need more miracelous blooms to alter our future… for the land to blossom and for us people to awaken to our own inner beauty, just like flowers. That is something I write about a lot in my book Tulip Love.

Trees and Flowers keep growing and blooming, even during times of war. And Tulips keep landing on my drawing pads and oil canvases… To see more of my ART please visit my gallery.
