Healing through Nature

With so much pain and trauma currently experienced in our world, we hope to co-create a healing space for victims of wars. We are sharing here our ideas for our first kosher retreat and engagement center, which we plan to locate in a natural rural setting in Sweden. We are looking for suitable property and visionary financial co-partners to help us develop a healing center focused on the arts, nature, and a garden sanctuary for meaningful connection in Sweden. For more details see my previous blog or contact me via email.

Its designed to be a “bridge initiative” between the people of Scandinavia and Israel to share Jewish spiritual and ethical values, along with wellness education, with curious individuals—including those seeking intentional, mindful, and compassionate living communities, as well as those interested in creative, complementary lifestyles, art, and personal growth.

Rooted in my original 2013 vision, Glödande Glädjen (“The Glowing Joy” in Swedish, Simcha Zoheret in Hebrew), and now enriched by the international holistic perspective of my husband, Ian Yosef Jacobs, we aim to bring positive awareness of Jewish values and inspiring teachers of Torah, health, and wellness, in order to celebrate the beauty of Jewish tradition

We would like to purchase affordable rural land near a city and/or airport in Sweden, and to design and build—or renovate—two or three aesthetically and visually attractive, ergonomically designed, eco-friendly residential buildings, an artist’s studio and gallery, and a multi-purpose lecture-workshop space for 10–30 visitors at a time. The Gallery will feature my artwork with occasional 5th Dimensional projections as well.

We also intend to create a uniquely designed, landscaped, tulip-themed garden.

Anchoring this initiative in Sweden’s naturally beautiful and scenic countryside will offer a nurturing and healing sanctuary, providing much-needed rest and recreation for many—especially victims of war who require space to recover from trauma.

We hope to set up a B&B for visitors, whom we envision welcoming with live instrumental music into a delightful organic tulip garden, accompanied by kosher food and accommodations.

Ultimately, our goal is to transform trauma into growth—through recovery and re-engagement.

We hope to be able to share our Sanctuary in Nature in the near future, enjoying Lectures, Workshops, Art Gallery, the Tulips and flower garden and walks in the forest, and more…

With much love, Eva Ariela
